Hilary Samuel, Organizational Development Consultant, leverages social media tools to help people collaborate and harness ingenuity in teams, organizations and communities.

Hilary’s expertise in team building, organizational transition through change and leadership development combined with her experience managing virtual teams gives her insight into use of technology to build organizations of tomorrow.

In over 20 years as a consultant, Hilary has crafted programs for change which operate at individual, team and organizational levels. Helping leaders reach their intended goals, teams achieve high performance results and organizations transition through change, Hilary has a reputation for guiding clients to experience a shift in perception so that issues are resolved through new ways of relating and understanding. She has taught on four continents and has worked with people from all walks of life and a diversity of cultures.

Hilary has lead globally dispersed multicultural teams, managing projects in Africa, the Middle East and USA as Director of Global Learning for Digital Opportunity Trust, an international not-for-profit organization fostering entrepreneurialism and use of technology. She has held consulting positions with the City of Ottawa and the Toronto General Hospital. As facilitator and coach, Hilary has worked with high tech, manufacturing, service, government, financial and health/pharmaceutical industries. She donates time and expertise to Leadership Ottawa, a not-for-profit devoted to stimulating community leadership. Hilary is a Senior Consultant with The Intersol Group.

Hilary holds masters degrees in Adult Education (MEd) and in Human Systems Intervention (MA). She is trained in Gestalt Therapy, as a NLP Practitioner and CCI Counsellor. She holds a BSc in Biology and a diploma in Fine Art.
